Set up Cursor

Add the server URL to mcp.json.

Open ScreenTap
The MCP server runs while the ScreenTap app is open.

Add ScreenTap to mcp.json
For all projects, edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json. For one project, use .cursor/mcp.json in that project. If the file already has servers, add only the "screentap" entry.

Check it's connected
Open Cursor Settings and find the MCP section. ScreenTap should show a green dot and its list of tools.

Good to know

Cursor asks before running each tool. You can allow ScreenTap's tools to run automatically in Cursor's settings.

Check that the ScreenTap app is open and your iPhone is connected, then restart your agent or start a new session. More fixes in Troubleshooting.
