Set up Gemini CLI

Add the server URL to settings.json.

Open ScreenTap
The MCP server runs while the ScreenTap app is open.

Add ScreenTap
Edit ~/.gemini/settings.json and add this. Gemini CLI calls the field httpUrl.

Check it's connected
Start Gemini CLI and run /mcp. ScreenTap and its tools should be listed. Then try:

Take a screenshot of my iPhone and tell me what's on screen.

Not working?

Check that the ScreenTap app is open and your iPhone is connected, then restart your agent or start a new session. More fixes in Troubleshooting.
